About Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC)

Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) was established on September 29, 2000. Its main job is to investigate and punish people involved in corruption especially in public offices.

ICPC Recruitment Requirements & Eligibility Guide 2025?

If you want to join ICPC workforce, below are the major requirements you must meet to be shortlisted. You must;

Be between 18 and 35 years old.
ICPC educational qualifications are – First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower is required. HND or ND must be with a Lower Credit. WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB results or certificates are required.
Be a Nigerian and have a valid means of identification e.g National ID, voter’s card, International Passport or driver’s license.
Be in good health and provide a fitness certificate from a federal government hospital.
Have completed the NYSC program and have the discharge certificate.
Have no criminal record.
Have strong communication skills.
Be at least 1.62 meters tall.

What is the salary of ICPC?

ICPC pays its workers every month. Different ranks in ICPC earn different amount of money.

1. Chief Investigator (one of the top officers) earns ₦70,500 per month.

2. Assistant Chief Investigator (assists the Chief Investigator) earns ₦63,000 monthly.

3. Assistant Chief Detective Superintendent earns ₦56,000 per month, while

4. Detective Superintendent earns ₦54,000 monthly.
